| Field Ave Open 7:00pm to 3:30am On September 1 Vortex the newest bar on Field’ s Avenue, softly opened to the public. The bar had been under construction for just over a year along with the Walkabout hotel under which it is situated. This bar has many ties with the old Stinger bar as it is owned primarily by the original owner of Stinger together with a consortium of partners. Many of the staff and dancers who were originally in Stinger are now happily residing in Vortex. The Vortex is literally brand spanking new and a very nice bar from the pristine exterior through to the thoughtfully designed interior. Outside there is plenty of parking space, but if the space runs out, there is quite literally a huge open air parking lot in the lot next door. |
